Posting this to put out feelers as it might be a unique situation
I’m looking for a live-in aid for my father who is only 61 but has suffered from multiple sclerosis for over 30 years. He lives alone and since he is on the younger side, he’s not ready to leave his house yet.
He lives in a rancher style home and he occupies the main floor. The basement is large and recently renovated and totally furnished. If we find the right person for the job, we will go full steam ahead and install and kitchen and bathroom. The house sits on 3.5 acres in the beautiful horse country of northern Baltimore county.
Rent would be FREE and you would treat the home as your own. We will even provide you with a car if needed. You could probably also manage to work part time elsewhere and would definitely allow for vacation time.
Responsibilities include:
House keeping
Cleaning
Laundry
Vacuuming
Trash and recycling
grocery shopping
Meal prep
Driving to and from doctors appointments (only about 5 times per year)
Anything to keep him busy and social
Currently has 1 dog and 1 cat
A little about him:
Very respectful Christian man. He has three daughters, 4 grandchildren. Loves music,
Reading, being with his family
