Currently looking for experienced caregivers for shifts every Monday 7am- 7pm, every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm, and every other Sunday 7pm- 7am at a licensed 5 bed Assisted Living facility in Baltimore City (21218).
The second location I’m looking to fill shifts for every Monday 7am- 7pm and every other Sunday 7pm- 7am at a licensed 6 bed Assisted Living facility in Baltimore City (21212).
Opportunity is available to pick up additional shifts on a as needed basis.
Must speak English, have a minimum of 6 months experience working with the elderly. The right candidates must be energetic, loving, caring, compassionate, respectful, dependable, considerate, honest and patient.
The candidates must also have a high school diploma or equivalent, US social security card, medication technician, cpr, first aid, clean background ( must be done under the facility's name), resume, PPD and comar.19 trainings ( 1. fire safety, 2. infection control, 3.basic food safety 4. emergency disaster plans, 5. Cognitive Impairment and Mental Illness, 6. Dementia/ Alzheimer’s, and a negative PPD.

Duties require performing ADL'S, housekeeping, bathing, preparing and serving meals, do laundry, take monthly weights, take blood pressures, provide companionship to residents, administer medications, tidy living areas, mop floors, empty trash, assist residents when needed, make and change beds, document/ care notes, perform activities with the residents, take blood pressures, take finger sticks, give insulin, observe and report any changes in the residents mental status and behavior, and do unannounced fire drills, etc.
