Our company is hiring a compassionate individual to manage daily caregiver activities for our patients. You should have strong communication and organizational skills. Your duties will include supporting patients with difficulties completing basic tasks, such as people with disabilities, the elderly, or patients suffering from mental disorders. Your primary responsibilities include administering medications, assisting patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, and grooming, and following the patients’ prescribed healthcare plan.
Caregiver Duties and Responsibilities:
Caregivers assist patients with everyday tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and running errands. Other essential duties and responsibilities include:
Provide physical, mental, and emotional care to patients.
Provide resources and information about diet, health, exercise, and follow-up care.
Monitor the patient's mobility, nutrition intake, and general well-being to ensure healthy development.
Ensure the overall safety of patients by following basic safety procedures such as infection control, first aid, and CPR.
Managing medication
Preparing meals
Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills
Performing light housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping the room clean, laundry)
Providing bathing and dressing assistance
Keeping proper care records and reporting changes to the nursing team
Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities
Following the patient care plan
Communicating with families, co-workers, and supervisors regarding care
Assisting with transfer and mobility
Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
