We are seeking a compassionate LIVE-IN CMT-Caregiver to join our team. This is a full-time live-in - NOT SHIFT WORK. YOU WILL LIVE AT THE LOCATION FULL-TIME. YOUR HOURS ON THE FLOOR ARE 6 AM TO 9 PM WITH LOTS OF DOWN TIME. The Caregiver will provide care and support to individuals in need.
Duties:
- Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Administer Medications, monitor, and record vital signs daily
- Administer first aid when needed
- Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals
-Organizing and properly administering medications on a schedule
-Cooking/providing healthy, nutritious meals and fluids
-Maintaining a beneficial schedule
-Stimulating social interaction with residents
-Arranging doctor and therapist appointments
-Attending and taking notes at all medical appointments, communicating medical information, and other issues to the Assisted Living manager/Owner.
Qualifications:
- Must read and write
-Must be caring
- Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living, DDA, mental health field, or related field. Ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with autism or disabilities. Must have experience working with seniors, dementia clients, and clients who are cognitively impaired.
-Must be able to work independently
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy and professionalism
Certification:
CPR and first aid
Must be vaccinated MMR V
Certification in Medication Administration (CMT)
Must pass a background check
You do not need to have a car, but having a valid driver’s license is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Compensation:
3 days per week, LIVE IN $1,440.00 per month
4 days per week, LIVE IN $1920.00 per month
SALARY PAID ON 15TH AND LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH
