Shifts:
- weekday evenings (9:00PM-11:00PM)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience, preferable combined hospital and private duty.
- Must have body strength and know body mechanics to be able to work with disabled persons having very limited mobility, operate power wheelchair. TOTAL, COMPLETE CARE.
- Experienced using Hoyer lift with harness safely for transfers.
- Have your own private vehicle, able to work in bad weather. Reliability / consistency are critical.
- Must be of excellent moral character and easy going. Roll with the punches! This work must be your passion.
Evening duties:
- Monday evenings: Take out trash cans from back porch to designated spot out front for trash removal.
- Tuesday evenings: Return trash can to back porch.
- Assist with dressing/undressing.
- Transfer to bed using Hoyer.
- Bathroom assistance with soap and water cleanup.
- Laundry, including folding and putting away.
- Getting clothes prepared for next day.
- Friday evenings: change and wash bedsheets.
- Light housekeeping if necessary (sweep floor, load dishwasher, etc).
Compensation $27 per hour. Paid biweekly.
