We are looking to hire an experienced Automotive Technician (Real Mechanic) for an available full-time position. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic with proven abilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, including the ability to swap engines and transmissions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can provide high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair timelines, and costs.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technology, trends, and repair techniques.
Work collaboratively with other technicians and staff to maintain a positive work environment.
Must be able to SWAP ENGINES and TRANSMISSIONS
Must be punctual and disciplined.
Must be willing to work 5-6 days a week.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or ASE certification required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Auto Repair Technician.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proven skills as a real mechanic with the ability to swap engines and transmissions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
Compensation:
Up to 1200$/ week
