Skylake Properties, located in Columbia, Maryland, is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties that we manage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members (mostly remote) to complete projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- HVAC certification or relevant licensing preferred.
- Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician, with expertise in residential and commercial systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, tools, and diagnostic techniques.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we use the application: Slack to communicate with our remote Property Management team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing workload and scheduling requirements.
- Must have own vehicle, and equipment to perform the service/repairs.
- Additional skillsets i.e. Electrical, Plumbing, or handyman work will be prioritized
