Kennel Technician – Woofs and Wags
Woofs and Wags is now hiring Kennel Technicians to join our team.
We are a fast-paced boarding facility offering boarding, daycare, and grooming services. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so reliability and commitment are essential.
This is a hands-on, physically active position. The health, safety, and comfort of our dogs and cats are our top priority—this job requires responsibility, consistency, and teamwork.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Cleaning and sanitizing dog and cat kennels
Feeding, monitoring, and safely handling dogs
Checking dogs in and out
Answering phones and assisting customers
General cleaning and upkeep of the facility
Working closely with staff in a busy environment
What we are looking for:
Reliable and punctual individuals
Someone who is patient, calm, and considerate toward animals and coworkers
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and in all weather conditions
Able to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Animal care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
Previous kennel, veterinary, or daycare experience preferred but not required
Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience
Training provided for motivated applicants
Important Notes:
Attendance and punctuality are critical in animal care.
This position is not suitable for individuals with frequent call-outs or inconsistent availability.
