We are a growing law firm in need of a reliable and proactive Paralegal. The Paralegal will work directly with our attorneys to prepare for upcoming hearings and be responsible for daily, continuous client contact . Our caseload is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to providing elite customer service. The Paralegal is responsible for a significant case load and must thrive in working in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
The successful candidate should have at least 2 years experience in the field of workers compensation and/or personal injury. The candidate must be organized with an attention to detail, computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Docs/Clio), have great time management skills, work well with a Plaintiff style clientele, bring energy and a positive outlook on a daily basis and have a good attendance history.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: answer and return incoming client calls; being a problem solver for clients; opening new files; assisting with new client intake; requesting medical records; electronic filing with the workers compensation commission for new claims; scanning documents to the case file and prepping files for hearings.
