We are seeking a Full-Time "Shop Technician" in Columbia, Maryland.

Our client is a growing business seeking a Shop Technician to assist with a broad range of duties. The Individual in this role should be a dependable self-starter.
The company is a fast-growing industry leader, which supplies conveyors and industrial equipment to the E-Commerce market. Responsibilities:
· Must be mechanically inclined to read drawings and use hand tools to perform assembly work
· Experienced in metal fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, cutting equipment, bending & forming equipment, etc.
· Shipping/Receiving - Receive shipments, inspect for and report damages, perform counts. Ship materials by picking, packing, kitting, and loading.
· Complete deliveries and general errands by driving company truck or van to and from vendors. Good driving record is a must.
· Must be experienced in the safe operation of a fork truck
· Must be able to lift 70lbs and occasionally push/pull 150lbs
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping warehouse area clean and organized
· Able to communicate issues, recommend improvements, and follow best practices
· Contributes to the overall team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

· Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Education and Licensing Requirements
