We are a property management company looking for an Administrative and Leasing Assistant. This position assists and supports the Property Manager and provides prompt and efficient administrative support to the management office.
General Responsibilities:
- Answering telephones, emails or in-person inquiries and communicating with residents, contractors, and visitors.
- Processing/preparing invoices or tenant statements, maintenance work orders, etc.
- Provide Administrative support for activities related to annual recertification and marketing/leasing of apartments, including showing of vacant apartments or houses to potential tenants.
- Assist in oversight of work assigned to handymen and licensed contractors.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reports
- Assist in preparation and distribution of notices to residents
- Perform general administrative duties
- Provide and maintain professional customer service to residents, prospective tenants, contractors, etc.
General Requirements:
- Associate or BA/BS degree.
- Reliable personal vehicle (not shared) to visit properties in Baltimore City or County.
- Proficient in MS Office, esp. Word and Excel.
- Organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, able to perform and prioritize multiple projects, and a team player.
Prior experience with any property management or accounting software, or building maintenance, a big plus.
