Estimator
A local demo and construction contractor is seeking an Estimator for renovation type projects. Projects range from small value contracts to large state and commercial contracts. Candidates must be able to read drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, and determine scope of work. We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail and is an effective and independent team player.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Strong estimating skills
Possess computer and technology skills to estimate work, process reports, etc.
Ability to write detailed scopes of work
Pinpoint changes made to drawings through addendums and revisions
Candidate Responsibilities:
Must be able to attend pre-bids and job site walk-throughs and meet with Customers.
Respond to RFQs and RFIs
Complete take-offs and quantity estimating
Develop scope of work and pricing for renovation and reconstruction projects
Prepare and submit estimates/bids
Ensure that estimates are complete and ready for review before the given deadline
