A local wellness center in Columbia, MD is seeking a part-time, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Administrator/Front Desk Assistant. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. You'll also provide administrative support to keep our center running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Create a warm and welcoming environment for patients
Manage phone calls, voicemails, and emails professionally
Schedule appointments, collect patient information and payments
Utilize various software programs (Merchant Payment, Microsoft Office 365, EHR/Medical Office Management System)
Develop and maintain patient files and manage practitioner schedules
Maintain center cleanliness and ensure treatment rooms are sanitized
Market SIWC services through social media and community events
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Qualifications:
Experience in a customer service role preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Proactive problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
General knowledge of integrative wellness treatments a plus
Must be HIPAA compliant
Schedule:
Tuesday: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM (5 hours)
Thursday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (6 hours)
Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8 hours)
Saturday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (7.5 hours)
