We are currently seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our front office team.
Position Overview:
The Bilingual Administrative Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, families, and staff. This role requires professionalism, warmth, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while working independently. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) and have a strong background in supporting individuals with autism or behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors, families, and community members in a welcoming and professional manner
Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries in both English and Spanish
Support administrative functions including filing, data entry, scheduling appointments, and document management
Communicate effectively with program staff, caregivers, and external partners
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and internal privacy guidelines
Assist with translation of forms, communications, and program materials
Perform other clerical and organizational tasks as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of administrative or receptionist experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or behavioral health needs preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment
Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive approach to service
