Large and extremely busy Property Managment Company looking for experienced Leasing Specialist for our Leasing Department. We are one of the largest third-party Property Management Companies in the Baltimore Metro area.
Leasing Specialist scope of work:
- Advertising: Publishing and updating daily rental adds on our website, Affordable Housing.com, Craigslist, Zillow, Facebook, Twitter, and other media.
- Inspecting and verifying properties are fully ready to rent, reporting an
- Following up inquiries: Answering applicants' inquiries from all media resources in a timely manner to schedule property showings to interested prospects.
- Property showings: Scheduling showings, showing and marketing properties for rent. Keeping a daily log of interested applicants. Notifying and coordinating the showing with the existing tenants.
- Marketing follow up: Following up with prospects who visited the property to invite them to move forward with the leasing process and get into a lease signed.
- Rental applications: Verifying for approval rental applications such as employment, references, incomeā¦
- Lease preparation: Sending the lease (prepared by our In-House Counsel) to the prospects electronically for review and signature. Requesting and verifying security deposit payment from the applicants.
- Tenant move-in: Performing move in walk-through with tenant, making a list of present damage, receiving keys.
- Leasing progress log: Keeping track of all communications and transactions with prospects, and reporting progress status to Managment.
- Other tasks: Perform other tasks as needed to successfully rent the properties.
Qualifications and Requirements:
. Previous property management and residential leasing experience and employment of at least 2+ years.
. Take charge, extremely well-organized, capable of working with minimum supervision.
. Communication and problem-solving skills to handle property management, leasing and administrative tasks.
. Strong computer experience with emphasize working with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Property Managment software is required.
. Must have exceptional experience and knowledge with social media and posting rental ads.
. Experience and knowledge of HUD subsidy programs a huge plus.
