As a Donations Ambassador Driver you will be responsible for the safe operation and transportation of goods within a company provided 16-26 foot box truck in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
This a physically demanding role, as you will be required to lift, carry, and move donations of various sizes and weight in and out of the box truck, from the warehouse to the sales floor and from the sales floor or warehouse to customer vehicles. While physically demanding the work is also rewarding and plays a critical part in the overall success of Habitat for Humanity’s mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope throughout Central Maryland.
Half the day will be spent driving the truck and the other half will be spent working in a retail environment. Putting out merchandise and offering customer service.
