Description:
The Senior Systems Engineer position based in Ellicott City, MD, requires both proven experience with technology and outstanding personal communication skills. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a fast-track leadership position with an opportunity to do exciting work while contributing to the growth/direction of a young, dynamic company. The right candidate will get the opportunity to work in multiple environments and with every level of personnel; they will be able to architect, design, and deliver solutions; and they will have the chance to manage multiple concurrent projects. Minimum of 7 years of experience is required please do not apply if your experience is less than that.

VMware Server Virtualization
Active Directory administration/design
Enterprise/SMB Networking & Wi Fi
Exchange administration
Backup solutions
MS Azure, O 365 experience
Experience with Desktop/Server automation
Linux experience a plus
MS SQL/mySQL experience a plus
Experience with the following is a plus:
IT Security
RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools
Network Monitoring/NOC
Mac OS
Android/iOS
A strong candidate will have the following qualifications - minimum of 7 years hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting networking equipment, servers and workstations, Exchange server and Active Directory; five years of experience in a client-facing environment with extraordinary customer service skills ; excellent verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable working with clients at a business level to understand their current and historic issues regarding their business and technology. Ability to lift/move up to 60 lbs. of computer/server equipment may be needed.
