Job Description
A & R Protection Services is seeking professional and vigilant arm non-lethal Security Officers for a high-visibility role at a premier grocery store in Baltimore. The primary mission of this position is to deter retail theft and ensure a safe environment through a constant, authoritative, and professional presence.
This is not a sedentary post. We require officers who are alert, engaged, and proactive. Strict policy: No cell phone use is permitted while on duty. Your focus must be on your surroundings and your responsibilities at all times.
A key responsibility of this role is to manage access control at the main entrance. Officers will be required to conduct bag checks for customers entering the store, providing them with a security pass that must be returned upon exit.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with a professional demeanor, able to perform access control duties respectfully and de-escalate situations calmly and effectively.
