WEBMASTER â salary $$65-80K a year based on experience
Full time position â some weekend work may be required if urgent website issues occur
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will be both technically proficient and creative. The candidate must have 3-5 years of webmaster and online marketing experience, including:
Wordpress advanced skills
PHP programming for templates and minor integrations
Webhook development
Plugin use and management
Page delivery speed optimization
Coding for responsive design layouts
Domain name management
Google Analytics analysis and reporting
Solid understanding of PPC, SEO & SEM
Knowledge of media editing software (photo and video)
Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
Ability to improve our website rankings and leads from organic searches (SEO that can move the needle)
Campaign landing page updates, maintenance and development
Ability to work with marketing team to redesign/update the website (website is redesigned every 3-4 years)
The successful candidate must also have a background in marketing, including the following:
Using 3rd party software for blast email communication
Graphic design for web
Image and Video optimization for Web
Social media marketing
New idea generation
Personal Qualities needed for the position:
Must be able to operate in a high pressure, results oriented environment
Must be proactive at preventing potential website issues
When issues do occur, must be able to resolve in a timely manner
Must be flexible, implement changes and updates to website adhoc as needed
Must be able to focus on company goals, understand the primary purpose of everyone on Solar Energy Worldâs marketing team is to generate qualified leads, while maintaining and protecting our brand
