Job description
A growing computer/network repair shop in Middle River Maryland for a Part Time Computer Technician to assist in a busy shop. This is a temporary position and can lead to a Full Time position for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in computer repairs, and loves to help people, and wants to grow with a small company.
This position does require prior professional experience in computer and software repair.

Duties:
Work will be done in shop, at clients site, phone, or remotely
Technician will apply skills in resolving clients’ issues
Troubleshoot/Repair software
Troubleshoot/Repair hardware
Troubleshoot network issues: Wired and Wireless
Perform helpdesk using phone and remote technologies
Disassemble/Reassemble Laptops, Tablets, Desktops
Communicate directly with all customers, both home and business.
Perform above duties in shop, in customers home, and customers business
Software / Technical Tasks:
Repair/Configure Software
Repair/Configure Hardware
Virus removal
Hardware driver installation/repair
Troubleshoot a variety of computer issues
Configure local area networks
Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, & Outlook, etc.
Configuring email accounts
In depth knowledge and usage of Windows OS’s
Savvy with search engine techniques
Routers, WAPs, Wireless, and other networking devices
Spyware/adware/rootkit removal tools
Requirements:
1 year experience in computer and software repair
Preferred certifications- A+, Net +
Consideration given to Experience in:
Prior Military

Part Time - 20 Hours+ weekly - $18.00 per hour plus (Based on Experience)
