What You'll Do?
Your day-to-day:
- Meet with clients in their homes to assess needs and recommend solutions
- Install stairlifts, modular ramps, grab bars, and other accessibility equipment
- Sketch job layouts, estimate materials, and plan installations
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure every installation works perfectly
- Build relationships with clients who often become like family
- Organize inventory and work on some other administrative tasks
The reality: Some days you're problem-solving a tricky curved staircase. Other days you're reassuring a nervous family that yes, their mom will be safe using this equipment. You'll use your hands AND your heart.
Who You Are?
Must-Haves:
- Mechanically inclined with power tool experience
- Comfortable with technology (tablet, smartphone, GPS, work software)
- Can lift 75+ lbs and work in varying conditions (attics, crawl spaces, outdoors)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong communication skills (you'll talk with seniors and families daily)
- Pass background check and drug screening
Nice-to-Haves:
- Construction, carpentry, or home improvement background
- Experience with customer-facing work
- Basic math skills for measurements and estimates
- Problem-solving mindset (every home is different)
Personality fit:
- Patient and compassionate (our clients are often stressed or scared)
- Detail-oriented (safety matters - every installation must be perfect)
- Self-motivated (you'll work independently some days)
- Takes pride in work well done
