TopKey Construction is looking for a Commercial Superintendent who is a results-driven team member with the ability to multi task, produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
-Assist with maintaining the project schedule and managing costs
-Proactively identify and solve problems with minimal oversight
-Maintain compliance with construction codes, and safety and government regulations
-Helps to oversee internal and external team members, including subcontractors
-Maintain organized project records including subcontracts, change orders, permits and drawings
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and inspection authorities
-Clearly communicate company policies to crews, subcontractors, suppliers, architects and engineers
-Ensure all onsite operations are conducted safely, on-time, on-budget and to our quality standards
-Coordinate and direct subcontractors to complete the project within the given budget and time frame
-Assist with overall quality control on the project for both the company and the subcontractors
-Analyze and resolve construction problems, develop and implement corrective actions as required, and monitor corrective actions to ensure they are effective in coordination with the Project Management
Necessary Qualifications:
-Prior experience as a construction foreman or equivalent
-Ability to work well with others, mainly subcontractors, and suppliers, in order to direct the completion of required work in both an accurate and timely manner
-Ability to multitask
-Proficiency with technology
-Experience installing commercial roofing and commercial doors
Working Conditions: .
-Work is performed both in the office and at construction sites.
-Climbing up and down ladders and stairs.
-Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
