Small woodworking studio in Hampden that builds high end custom furniture.
Seeking a part time studio assistant to help out as needed with shipping items and keeping the shop in working order.
Any woodworking or metalworking experience is a plus.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently and efficiently is a must.
Hours: 8:30am- 5pm
Days are flexible based on what your availability is
2-4 days per week are preferred
Responsibilities include:
Oversee shop organization and cleaning
Making plywood crates
Inspecting, wrapping and crating finished furniture for shipment
Printing and attaching shipping labels to cartons
Assist with local Baltimore and DC deliveries
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years with power tool use (miter saw, table saw)
Must be able to lift heavy items (30-50lbs) to complete daily tasks
