-Key Responsibilities
Operate a newer model Automatic Freightliner doublebunk tractor with a 53’ Dry Van trailer.
Transport & Delivery: Safely haul freight across long distances, potentially crossing state lines.
Vehicle Operations: Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, check tires, brakes, lights, and report defects.
Cargo Management: Secure freight (tarps, chains), verify load, and ensure it arrives undamaged.
Regulatory Compliance: Follow all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), log hours, and maintain accurate records.
Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers, customers, and logistics teams.
Documentation: Complete paperwork for deliveries, logs, and incidents.
Essential Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Clean driving record.
Ability to pass drug/alcohol tests and medical exams.
Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Age: Minimum 21 years old (some companies allow 23+).
License: Valid Driver's License for at least 12 months, then obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
No commercials Accidents
Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) (few or no accidents/violations).
Background: Pass a background check (no recent DUIs/DWI) and drug screening.
Medical: Pass a DOT physical exam to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) standards (vision, blood pressure, hearing).
Skills: Excellent time management, problem-solving, organization, and communication
