Overview:
This is a full-time, on-site role for driver position in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Pennsylvania. The driver's will be responsible for transporting passengers or goods safely to their designated destinations while adhering to traffic laws and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include vehicle inspection, route planning, loading and unloading, and ensuring a courteous and professional interaction with clients to provide a reliable and enjoyable transportation experience. Driver's must use personal vehicle while performing duties.
Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Class C driver's license
Own vehicle not older than 10 years old
Strong Communication and Customer Service abilities
Knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices
Punctuality, reliability, and professional demeanor
Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
Prior experience with passenger transportation or logistics is a plus
Flexibility to work varied hours, including potential weekends or evenings
Duties:
Safely pickup and drop-off client at their doctor or physical therapy appointment.
Load and unload cargo or passengers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries or passenger pickups.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route updates or issues.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety standards to ensure safe transportation at all times.
Skills:
Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, shuttle driving, or delivery operations.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients.
Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type required; additional certifications (e.g., CDL) are preferred but not mandatory depending on the role.
