Specialty contracting company that designs and installs helical piers for residential, commercial and industrial/institutional construction projects is seeking motivated individual with experience/knowledge in operating mini-excavators, skid steers and other construction machinery, as well as simple and complex construction tools. This individual will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment and will assist in other construction site duties as required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of hydraulic power pack and drive head operations, as well as preventative maintenance.
The candidate MUST have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record - NO EXCEPTIONS
The work environment may often include inclement weather, working in confined spaces and the standing for extended periods of time.
The candidate must be able to pass drug screening tests and be able to obtain necessary government clearances.
Other requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Understand basic measurements in feet and inches
- Heavy lifting will be required to perform this job
- Ability to listen and comprehend oral and written instructions accurately to learn the company's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment
