The Instrumentation & Control Panel Technician operates and maintains systems such as HVAC systems, boiler plant systems, water and wastewater systems, building automation systems, electrical substations control systems, emergency power systems (generators and automatic transfer stations) at the CMI customer site in Beltsville, MD.Key Job FunctionsMount components, route wires neatly, and assemble industrial control panels and enclosures according to engineering schematics.Test instruments, meters, and gauges (pressure, temperature, flow, level) to ensure high-accuracy performance and regulatory compliance.Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized software.Install, repair, and maintain hardware and software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and SCADA networks.Modify and update electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and testing logs to reflect system changesPerforms other related duties as required
