Data QA Lead Engineer Job Description:

• 7 to 8yrs of Enterprise experience in DWBI and Big data testing, 3 years of Data Ware house testing experience
• Must have Bid Data testing (Spark Scala, AWS)
• Hand-on working experience on Spark PySpark, AWS S3, snowflake, Hive, Airflow, Nifi, UNIX shell scripting and Hadoop environment.
• Experience with testing real-time data-processing systems
• Knowledge on working of EMR clusters.
• Prior experience working on upgradation migration is desirable
• Knowledge of data flows, data architecture, ETL and processing of unstructured data
• Exposure to Postgres and Couchbase
• Strong knowledge in SQL to write complex queries to verify data
• Understanding of Data migration testing and data Quality checks
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies from QA perspective
• Python based automation knowledge is a plus
• Experience in Microservices testing (Good to have)
• Solid understanding of common software development practices and tools
• Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, Version control and Defect Management systems
• Experience in defining strategies, planning, UAT criteria and performing all test related activities
• Ability to map functional requirement with technical design and ensure the complete workflow is tested understanding the impact of de pendent modules
• Experience in writing both positive and negative scenario test cases for Information accuracy

Education:
Bachelor's Degree [Technology preferred] and equivalent work experience.

• Work Location: Bethesda. MD with hybrid mode (atleast 2 days in office)
