RCS is seeking anExpert Systems Administratorin a Windows and Linux Systems environment to provide operations and maintenance, and development of custom financial applications. Participate in the process to gather, document and groom budgetary system requirements and identify opportunities to engineer solutions that address the requirements. Actively participate on a team that provides engineering, operations and support of critical cloud-based systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal efficiencies and availability. This position requires the candidate to work onsite in Bethesda, MD. Relocation assistance is not available. What you will do:
Provide Tier 1, 2 and 3 identification, diagnosis and resolution for events, incidents, and problems for cloud-based systems and infrastructure
Provide sustainment, security vulnerability and POAM support for Windows and Linux cloud-based systems, storage, and networks
Provision and manage cloud-based services, systems, storage, and infrastructure
Support for infrastructure services to include Active Directory, WSUS, LDAP, DNS, Splunk and others
Support for software licensing and PKI certification renewals
Support deployment and configuration of COTS and GOTS applications
Support developers, application testers, and others’ requests for infrastructure support
Maintain system documentation and artifacts
Participate in planning and scrum agile ceremonies
Required Qualifications/Education:
Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
6+ years of directly relevant systems administration experience including hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
6+ years of direct relevant experience configuring and maintaining the Information Technology Infrastructure associated with an IT system hosted in the AWS cloud environment
4+ years of directly relevant experience with Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Print Management, Windows Server Roles & Features, WSUS, PowerShell, Windows Licensing & KMS, Certificate creation & management, Account creation & management
Experience accrediting IT systems under the ICD 503 Certification and Accreditation Process
Strong leadership skills, excellent communicator, and multitasker
Desire to take on difficult tasks and mentor/assist team members
Experience working within an agile sprint development team environment using Jira and Confluence
Ability to creatively collaborate with other program personnel to ensure a unified and well-executed goal
Composure and ability to lead with confidence and calmness when faced with competing high-priority projects and difficult decisions and when delivering presentations
Excellent written and verbal communications skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools
Ability to work independently with limited supervision or in a team setting
