job descriptionMedical Practice ManagerBusy, well established, award winning specialty practice with dynamic, high functioning team seeking an experienced, motivated Practice Manager to lead them in their continued growth and success! With offices in Bethesda, Maryland and Springfield Virginia, and more to come you will be responsible for running multiple offices and growth plans! This is a permanent position compensation $60-90k annually based on relevant experience.Responsibilities:

Oversee billing operations - including but not limited to tracking the timely and appropriate verification of insurance, charge capture, deposits to the bank, A/R follow-up, denial management and patient statement follow-up. This oversight will be in conjunction with our third party billing provider.

Handling human resources - hiring, training, annual employee reviews, scheduling, supervision, staff leave authorizations and tracking accruals, and compliance

Establish and maintain Practice policies, inclusive of writing and updating all forms and notifications - clinical policies and workflow, financial policies related to patients and HIPAA compliance

Maintain contact with Practice consultants and vendors - including but not limited to the accounting firm, the IT group, EMR/PM vendor, Landlord and any other outside consultants

Ordering and maintenance of supply inventory and office equipment in both administrative and clinical areas

Spearheading all EMR related activities - updates, repairs, training and reporting

Tracking all Practice and Physician licenses, certifications, credentialing, ADA and all other compliance and payer re-credentialing and insurance renewals

Handle marketing functions - including but not limited to the website maintenance, social media and outside referral engagement

Travel required to all locations on a weekly basis in both Maryland and Virginia to support staff and manage operations

Research, track, analyze, organize and report on metrics/stats relevant to operational business health and success. Identify issues and negative trends, address them and ensure action steps are planned and executed to resolve issues.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:

Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with all levels of personnel, medical staff and community representatives

Excellent communication both written and verbal

Strong leadership skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze office work flows and make high - level recommendations

Education:BachelorsExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management or other closely related field is required. Masters Degree preferred.

Must have prior experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting (5 years minimum)

Travel to other locations on a regular basis using their personal vehicle

Must have a strong understanding of Information Technology and computer systems

Experience with eClinicalWorks highly preferred
