Description We are searching for a Staff Accountant to be a part of our clients team. The Staff Accountant will be in charge of various accounting operations, including processing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and bookkeeping. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee the accounts payable inbox, ensuring the correct recording and coding of vendor/contractor bills. Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient funding for various expenditures. Maintain an efficient and organized accounting filing system. Implement a system of controls over accounting transactions. Ensure timely deposit of payer and patient check payments. Monitor bank accounts and perform reconciliations during the month-end process. Manage accounts receivable, ensuring all cash transactions are accurately recorded. Verify that all vendor/contractor bills are paid on a weekly basis. Handle the processing of customer credit applications in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain precise customer credit records.Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position Proven knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is essential Proficiency in managing General Ledger Must have the ability to prepare Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures is required Proficiency in QuickBooks is necessary Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessaryRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
