Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join our team, based in Chevy Chase, Maryland. As a Legal Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including managing daily office operations, overseeing office facilities and supplies, coordinating office events, and supporting the firm's financial activities. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily office operations to ensure smooth functioning of the firm. Direct and administer executive support to coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications effectively. Maintain and manage office equipment and facilities to ensure their optimum functionality. Oversee the inventory of office supplies and ensure the office environment is orderly and professional. Coordinate office functions and social events to foster a positive work environment. Administer and maintain firm insurance policies. Act as the primary point of contact for the external accounting firm ensuring effective communication. Support the firm's accounting function by performing financial activities such as billing, collections, and payroll. Track and manage firm expenses and budgets to ensure financial stability. Assist with human resources tasks, including onboarding, staff coordination, and performance management. Administer employee benefits and maintain personnel records to ensure accurate record keeping. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new employees to ensure the best talent is recruited. Manage relationships with IT service providers to ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and software. Provide basic technical support to staff and coordinate IT upgrades and maintenance to ensure optimum IT functionality.
