Crown is seeking Training Specialists who will be responsible for the development, delivery, and conduct of training maintenance staff in maintaining newly deployed Voice over IP systems. In collaboration with the program’s technical staff and other subject matter experts, the Training Specialists develop the training course materials including but not limited to: learning/configuration guides and hand-outs; PowerPoint presentations; lab workbooks;; and certification exams and their accompanying aids. The Training Specialist will be required to deliver Instructor Led training courses in-person and must be able to travel to government facilities for course conduct.It is expected that some percentage of work time may be performed from home but not guaranteed.Experience in training development, web-based course development, and instructor led training delivery is required.This position will be located on site in Columbia, MD.ResponsibilitiesSupport all activites in the Training Development PlanPerforming task and skills analyses of the maintenance personnel to be trained on maintaining new Voice over IP equipmentBecome proficient in software applications related to monitoring and maintaining voice communication systems in order to develop training content and deliver training courses.Contributing to the development of Web Based Training courses following completion of Instructor Led training course content.Ensuring that all assigned training deliverables meet contractual requirementsMonitoring, evaluating and documenting training activities and training program effectivenessPerform research and write professional documents, including contributing to the development of maintenance manuals used in trainingRead and analyze technical materials and create presentations of that information including drawings, user manuals, presentations, or training documentsInteract with the program’s management, technical staff and Subject Matter Experts and be capable of distilling and conveying technical information into training deliverables
