Forklift Operator - Night ShiftJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled forklift operator to efficiently move concrete pallets throughout our yard and manage inventory. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions. Approximately 70% of the job entails operating the forklift, while the remaining 30% involves yard maintenance, restacking products, and performing labor duties.Responsibilities
Operate forklift to move concrete pallets and inventory.
Utilize Hyster single lift and Caterpillar double lift forklifts.
Position forks or lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials.
Hook tow trucks to trailer hitches and transport loads to designated areas.
Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting devices.
Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with necessary materials.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling, and cleaning the forklift.
Essential Skills
Ability to operate a forklift.
1+ year of experience operating a forklift.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Flexibility to work 60 hours per week and 10-hour days, including some Saturdays when offered.
