TITLE: Water Division Foreman
REPORTS TO:Water/Mold Division Manager
PURPOSE / SCOPE OF POSITION: To assist Water/Mold Division Manager in the handling of water damage mitigation and mold remediation projects, equipment, supplies and technicians. To assist Water/Mold Division Manager in the scoping and estimating of new losses using Xactimate and other programs.
EDUCATION / TRAINING: High school diploma / GED preferred. The ability to read and follow written and verbal instruction is a must. Must have basic keyboard and computer skills. Microsoft office proficiency preferred. IICRC certifications highly preferred.
EXPERIENCE: We will train on ServiceMaster work methods and procedures. Some experience in Water/mold mitigation and/or construction would be desired. Some experience with estimating mitigation/construction projects preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Driver's license with a good driving record, ten panel drug test and pass an annual (but not limited to) background check. All serious applicants must bring in their MVA records before final interview. Ability to work overtime, handle high stress situations, ability to lift 50 pounds, able to work independently takes initiative check/proof your own work and multi-task. Must pass a D.O.T. physical, take respiratory training, and fit test. No record of lifting limitations or history of back problems. Able to navigate tight spaces like Crawlspaces and attics.
NORMAL WORKING HOURS: Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with 2 (1/4) hour breaks and ½ hour for lunch. Call out policy and Emergency on call coverage is required on a rotating basis including evenings / weekends / holidays.
JOB DESCRIPTION: (included but not limited to)
All services must be performed as written in the IICRC SR500 standard and reference guide for professional water damage restoration.Ã Including carpet / upholstery cleaning and other related task as requested.
Coordination and supervision of weekly vehicle repair & maintenance. The Foreman will assign duties and ensure their completion. All maintenance sheets will be turned into the division manager and any serious repair issues will be brought to their attention.
Create the next day's schedule and send out assignments the day before. Work with the division manager to update the job board for during business hours and weekend work.
Ability to learn and operate the Restore 365 program and grasp the art of sketching areas or room. Must be able to be proficient on an I-Pad, a basic key board and computer experience is required.
Must be able to work safely on their own and with others, Must be capable of maintaining a PPE bag.
Must maintain a cell phone that is capable of running the Restore 365 app, accessing the internet and completing calls.
Maintain, responsibly use and be able to operate a company provided iPad.
Ability to handle power tools and perform basic demolition work.
Must be capable of working with others in the Water Division to manage a project from initial inspection to final walk thru including but not limited to taking photos & measurements, completing required paperwork and contracts, writing initial scopes and punch lists, getting approvals from insurance companies or property managers/owners and completing compliance tasks and exception reports.
