Be a part of a new business downtown! Work in a cafe and market environment that supplies coffee and sandwiches to customers eating food in house or taking it to go.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Helping customers purchasing fresh deli meats, charcuterie and gourmet cheeses.
-Use of a slicer, cheese wire, and bread knife will be frequent during these tasks along with a Turbochef and Alto-Shaam oven system.
-Assisting with restocking market items, taking frequent inventory
-Practicing good food safety are all parts of this position as well. We also must maintain professional appearances and work practices.
-Also will include cleaning dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, restroom cleaning and stocking when necessary.
Position times follow our current schedule of operations being 8am - 5pm.
Shifts will cover 7am-2pm or 10am-5pm periods.
Consistent schedule preferred, but we are flexible. Part time or full time positions available- full time hours are around 30 hours a week with plans to increase.
Must be available weekends.
Must have reliable transportation.
Experience preferred, but will train eager candidates.
Bi-lingual is a plus!
