Qlarant has an exciting opportunity in our Easton office for a motivated candidate with strong clerical skills. This entry level position (Project Support II) is a great way to learn our business, develop your administrative/clerical skills and prepare yourself for career advancement in our organization. Working as a member of our Unified Program Integrity Contractors team for the Western Jurisdiction (UPIC W), you can contribute to our efforts to make a positive difference in the future of our nation's healthcare programs. Our UPIC W team identifies and investigates fraud, waste and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid programs covering 13 states and 3 territories. Excellent communication, MS Office and organization skills as well as a sense of urgency are required.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision the Project Support II is responsible for the processing, entry and distribution of correspondence for various contracts in accordance with well-established policies, procedures and techniques by performing all or some of the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Processes daily mail, copy, fax and/or medical records requests.

Prepares and/or process folders, files, and maintains medical records.

Locates, signs out, and delivers medical records requested.

Operate computer to enter and retrieve data and type correspondence and reports.

Scans documents.

Operates office equipment.

Maintains database files.

Provides reception services by greeting guests via phone and registering guests in-person.

Interact with customers on-site and by phone and identify issues that should be referred for

Enters data into various databases.

Cross-trains to provide coverage in all unit functions.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 2 years related clerical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical terminology or experience in healthcare preferred. Microsoft Office skills required.
