We are a small steel fabrication/welding and installation company located in Church Creek, MD and have approximately 20 employees. We are looking to hire a Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to help the Project Managers and Estimators. Candidate should be interested in a business/management atmosphere. Experience in accounting/bookkeeping or construction is beneficial. Training will be provided. This position can be from 24-40 hours per week depending on candidate. Please email resume.
Duties will include the following:
- Entering Vendor Bills
- Enter Employee Time Sheets for Payroll Processing
- Maintaining the Accounting Files
- Learning the basics of Project Management for Steel Construction
- Clerical work to include Word and Excel
- Reading Drawings/Blueprints
- Maintaining job files
- Assisting in Purchasing Material
- Assisting Estimating
- Quality Control
- Drawing Control
