We are seeking a reliable, self-assured marine service technician to perform maintenance and repairs on outboards and outboard-propelled vessels.
Marine Service Technician Responsibilities:
-Showing up on time, with tools ready to work.
-Good time-keeping and organizational skills to complete tasks efficiently.
-Rigging new outboard installations.
-Clear understanding of troubleshooting 12-volt systems and repair.
-Cleaning, repairing, and maintaining all parts of the boat or vessel.
-Testing engines, propellers, steering, and navigational equipment
-Liaising and consulting with the supervisor.
Marine Service Technician Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED.
-Minimum of two years of experience in the marine industry or a similar field.
-Tools and transportation.
-Practical experience with tools and equipment used in marine maintenance.
-Ability to work independently and finish tasks efficiently.
-Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-Good customer service skills.
-A willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
-The ability to carry heavy loads and to stand, sit, and stoop for prolonged periods.
-Clean driving record.
-Ability to work in all types of weather.
