Position Available: Property Maintenance Supervisor and Groundskeeper Live in
Location: Royal Oak, Maryland
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled individual to oversee and participate in maintenance and groundskeeping at our Retreat center: Moofy's Farmhouse. This role focuses on the physical upkeep of the property and involves managing other laborers, handling construction projects, repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and manage a team of laborers involved in maintenance and construction projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.
-Conduct hands-on repairs and maintenance of property structures and fixtures.
-Oversee the appearance and condition of the exterior property, including gardening, lawn care, and upkeep of outdoor facilities.
-Maintain a small farm/garden and care for farm animals, ensuring their well-being and the upkeep of their environments.
-Lead and coordinate the work of other laborers, providing direction and support to ensure high-quality maintenance standards.
Requirements:
-Demonstrated experience in construction, property maintenance, and team management.
-Proficiency in handling basic repairs, maintenance tasks, and managing maintenance teams.
-Experience in gardening and caring for farm animals.
-Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
Compensation:
-Full-time position
-Salary: $48,000
-Housing: $36,000
-Annual Bonus
-Total Compensation Target: $84,000
Work Schedule:
8-hour shift
On-call requirements
Weekend availability is necessary
Additional Notes:
On-site housing is available and preferred, though not mandatory. Housing arrangements will be further discussed post-interview.
Location Requirements:
Must be able to reliably commute to Easton, MD 21601, or plan to relocate before starting work.
Experience:
Relevant experience in construction, maintenance, and team leadership required.
Work Location:
On-site at the bed and breakfast.
