Sourcing & Procurement Analyst - Elkridge, MD

Checking and promoting the order fulfillment accuracy for Optum Home & Community field supply orders

Processing order tracking files after shipping labels are created

Supporting Home Based Medical Care (HBMC) order fulfillment

Coordinating with interdisciplinary team to provide support for special equipment management, storage, delivery, and recapture

Managing and addressing time-sensitive communications and inquiries from the clinical field support team

Processing non-standard clinical chart submissions

Providing inventory support, including tracking and monitoring existing inventory levels, and placing resupply orders when needed

Assisting with the organization and management of the warehouse floor and packing areas

Accurately reconciling and submitting vendor invoices for payment

Identifying, tracking, and addressing opportunities for warehouse and inventory management process improvement

Processing incoming and outgoing USPS mail

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Solid ability to efficiently and effectively communicate in both written and verbal correspondence

Excellent and reliable attention to detail

Ability to support clinical device tracking, including logistical tracking and utilization management for point-of-care testing devices

Willingness and proven ability to identify and pursue opportunities for fulfillment process enhancements

Experienced and familiar with common Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word)

Dependable personal transportation to ensure consistent attendance

Frequently moves items weighing up to 50 pounds around the work site

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Optum Home & Community and clinical field supply/equipment needs

Experience with UPS & USPS shipping and logistics processes

Experience with warehouse/fulfillment-related process improvements

Maryland Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $48,300 to $94,500 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
