As the Deputy Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Portfolio Manager with program activities as well as, serve as the Lead for a high-profile Task Order that provides support to the customer in Engineering, Cyber, Operations, Strategic Communications, and other areas.This is a hybrid position that will have selected candidate splitting their time between one of our on-site locations and working fully remote. On-site work locations include Chantilly, VA or Fort Meade, MD.How the Deputy Technical Program Manager will make an impact:

Lead and manage all program activities under Task Order (TO)1 Operations & Maintenance.

Translate customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results or have acceptance in the targeted market, while meeting business objectives.

Analyze information and situations and implement actions, independently and/or through the Leadership team, to ensure projectprogram objectives are met.

Gather customers’ requirements and establish project scope and objectives.

Prepare detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports.

Coordinate and conduct meetings and ensure tasking and action items are tracked and executed.

Review deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Manage the integration of vendor tasks and evaluate vendor deliverables.

Serve as point of contact and interface to all parties involved including team members, senior leaders, and customers.

As appropriate, challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.

Work closely with the Program Manager in support of all DISA Portfolio task orders, ensuring customer communication and support, team leadership and collaboration, and overall success of entire DISA Portfolio.

Work as a key member of the Program’s Leadership Team to facilitate communication, collaboration, and execution of the Program’s activities.

Support all aspects of project development and implementation from original inception to final completion.

Develop and/or contribute to program briefs to be delivered to all levels of leadership.

Utilize refined techniques for identifying, eliminating, or mitigating solution, projectprogram and business risk.

Analyze new and complex projectprogram related problems and create innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.

What you’ll need to succeed (Required Qualifications):

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years related technical experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance required.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing Cloud Service Offerings or other highly technical Projects.

Experience with Cloud Computing (more specifically, Microsoft Cloud Platform [i.e., Microsoft 365, Azure, etc.]), Systems architecture and planning, Cyber security in Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF), Large enterprise networks and public key infrastructure (PKI), Zero trust architecture and information protection, and Operations and Change Management for cloud solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Top Secret security clearance.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

One or more ITIL certifications.

Demonstrated Agile Scrum experience.
