Our client in Frederick, MD brings an exceptional opportunity for you to showcase your development and fundraising skills in your own community. You will support the Executive Director in pursuing additional resources that support programs and services to those in need. You will have oversight with grant applications, grants management, fundraising event planning and donor cultivation.In this role you will:
Manage grants by maintaining existing grant funds and pursuing additional grant opportunities
Coordinate and oversee fundraising evens wtih two large events annually (Spring & Fall)
Maintain relationships with existing stakeholders, donors, and foundations
Perform outreach and donor cultivation
Community networking
Use social media tools and manage digital mailing campaigns
Work collaboratively with the CFO in tracking ad maintaining the budget
Solicit and support in-kind contributions
Support the Director and CFO in developing annual fundraising goals and implementing fundraising strategies
The right candidate for this role will have:
A Bachelor's degree or significant development and grants experience
3 years' experience in a nonprofit development or fundraising role
Experience with grants management
Donor relations and prospecting experience
A passion to serve those in need
