Another Source’s client, Sabey Corporation, is recruiting a Real Estate Attorneyto join their team in Ashburn, VA. We are looking for a highly motivated attorney with an interest in joining the in-house legal department at a growing real estate company. You will be joining a small, dynamic legal team with an opportunity to assist in a wide variety of contracts, transactions and general corporate areas.

Internally this will be titled Senior Corporate Counsel

About the role:

This position will report to the General Counsel and provide direct transactional support to internal groups as well as work closely with outside counsel on a variety of real estate and corporate related matters. The focus will include data center lease, license, and other commercial agreements

The salary range for this role is $118,548 - $183,749, depending on experience.

Where you’ll be spending your time:

Provide transaction management and support for Sales executives, including drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial and data center lease agreements, amendments, carrier license agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

Provide transaction management and support for real estate and corporate transactions, including acquisitions, easements, financing, sales, and related due diligence review

Provide support to Property Management, Data Center Operations, Construction, IT, Marketing and Communication teams with review of various agreements

Support General Counsel with general corporate matters and various legal projects

Provide mentorship to corporate counsel and corporate paralegal

Other projects and duties as assigned

Experience you will bring to the team:

Proof of passed State Bar Exam and proof of good standing

J.D. from an ABA – accredited law school

7+ years of relevant real estate experience

In-house legal experience within a corporate setting preferred

Established track record of success in legal matters in a continually changing work environment

Proven experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating leases and other commercial contracts
