Part-Time Personal Business Assistant (In Person, Westminster, MD)

Company Overview: We are a fast-paced financial services company led by a busy executive who needs a reliable, detail-oriented assistant with an attention to detail. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in daily administrative duties, mailing fulfillment, and seasonal projects. Ideal for a student, recent graduate, or anyone looking to build experience in personal/business administration.

Position Details:

Type: Internship or Part-Time (up to 20 hours per week)

Location: In person, Westminster, MD

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Typical day: 4 hours

- 1 hour filling out cards (birthdays, congratulations, holiday greetings)

- 1 hour preparing and mailing analyses/other paperwork

- 1 hour social media engagement and content posting

- 1 hour miscellaneous administrative work

Responsibilities:

- Schedule provided posts

- Prepare and send out greeting cards (birthdays, congratulations, holiday, etc)

- Assist with quarterly mailings of financial documents

- Coordinate annual mailing projects (e.g. sending documents to CPAs on January 1, distributing first Christmas ornaments, etc.)

- General Office Tasks

- Maintain organized files and records

- Assist with any miscellaneous tasks or errands as needed

- Complete mailing and other clerical duties.

- Ensure all documents and mailings are accurate and timely

- Monitor deadlines and track progress on assigned projects

Requirements:

Must be able to pass a background check

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Comfortable working independently on daily tasks

Some knowledge or interest in finance is helpful, but not required

Marketing or social media experience is a plus

Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
