D&J Real Estate Management, LLC. is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Property Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of a 71-unit apartment complex. A typical day will consist of, but not be limited to, the management showing the property to prospective tenants and preventative maintenance. You will play a crucial role in presenting our properties to potential tenants, highlighting the benefits of each property, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the showing process.
This position is offered as a 1099 contract work, meaning you will be considered an independent contractor, responsible for your taxes and insurance. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling options
Key Responsibilities:
Complete apartment service tickets and log all assigned work orders accurately and in a timely fashion
Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so apartments are ready to lease for new residents to move in
Keep the grounds free of debris and trash
Provide excellent customer service to residents
Coordinate with other contractors to resolve electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, installations, service, and replacements in a responsible and professional manner that meets industry standards as needed by the apartment community.
Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last-minute touches when appropriate
Work with the property management company to schedule and conduct property showings for prospective tenants.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple shows per day.
Flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend shows.
Professional appearance and conduct.
Ability to use your smartphone or tablet for scheduling and communication.
Basic understanding of lease agreements and rental policies is a plus.
