Residential Outdoor Construction Management Specialist needed
We are a design build company specializing in Residential landscaping, hardscaping, decks, and fences.
This position works directly with the clients, foremen, and crews to provide landscape services and projects to residential clients. The Manager is responsible for ensuring that clients receive the best possible service in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
This position requires a complete and in-depth understanding of plant installation, landscape maintenance, hardscape construction management, including facets of Deck and Fence Installation.

This position requires the ability to make cost effective, smart decisions in a dynamic environment. The Manager must be able to multi-task effectively in a calm and efficient manner.
POSSIBLE RESPONSIBILITIES might include
o Supervises and trains all maintenance and landscaping foremen and is responsible for overseeing the progress and performance of each crew and providing feedback through employee reviews
o Responsible for the overall product quality at each client's property
o Fosters excellent relations and rapport with existing and new clients
o Responsible for selling other services offered by us to existing maintenance and landscape clients
o Works with the mechanic to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are operational, compliant and correctly maintained
o Creates and manages processes and procedures that ensure we are operating efficiently and profitably
o Works with us to increase and sustain established profit margins through analysis of actual versus projected income and expenses
o Maintains and communicates accurate inventory of all tools, equipment and landscape materials
o Responsible for sourcing, procuring and organizing materials for all maintenance, landscaping and construction jobs
o Responsible for updating software systems with pertinent client notes
o Responsible for preparing landscaping and maintenance estimates and proposals, work orders and route sheets as well as making sure foremen have reviewed the documents and are prepared for each project
o Addresses and resolves problems and issues immediately.
o Responsible for scheduling all landscape, maintenance and construction projects.
o Meets with landscape designers at prospective job site to provide technical support into the creation of the estimate by the designer
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
o Associates or Undergraduate degree in relevant areas such as construction management, landscape architecture, horticulture or business or relevant work experience.
o Minimum three years experience managing crews or relevant Sales experience
o Experience reviewing master plans and construction documents.
o Detailed knowledge of aspects of landscape maintenance, horticulture, construction, and using best industry practices for installation.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
