Driver Qualifications:
OTR drivers- NO LOCAL WORK
Age: 21 years or older
Experience: 1 year of recent verifiable driving experience
TWIC Preferred (or can obtain)
Safety Record:
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 2 years (individual violations will be evaluated based on severity and type)
No DUI in the last 10 years
No drug-related offenses (subject to Safety Director review)
No major accidents
No reckless driving
Serious violations that may impact eligibility:
Cell phone/Texting/Handheld device use while driving
Speeding (15 mph or more over the speed limit)
Reckless/Careless Driving
More than 1 At-Fault accident
Seat belt violation
Leaving the scene of an accident
