The Chaplain Manager oversees spiritual care services within a senior living community as part of the Wellness Department. This role provides compassionate support through religious services, pastoral counseling, crisis response, and guidance during life transitions. The position also supervises chaplaincy staff or volunteers and collaborates with other departments to promote holistic well-being. The ideal candidate demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a commitment to serving older adults with dignity. This role reports directly to the Director of Well-being.Collaborate with the Well-Being Director to plan, develop, and execute Spiritual well-being programs and services aligned with the community's mission and resident needs.Assist the Well-Being Director in the management of daily operations within the department, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Act as a liaison between the Spiritual Life and Care Department and other community departments to ensure cohesive and integrated services for residents.Supervises all Spiritual Life and care department Staff, contractors, and volunteers as assigned.Participate in On-Call rotation for worship, hospital visits, and after-hours emergencies.Contacts next-of-kin or Power of Attorney upon death of resident and plans/officiates memorial services, if requested.Leads Bible Studies, other spiritually based programs, and visits residents.Participates as a member of the assigned facility’s interdisciplinary teamReports on all accidents/incidents to the Director of Well-being.Support, mentor, and guide the Chaplaincy team, encouraging professional development and a high standard of performance.Maintain accurate records of service attendance, visitation, feedback, and outcomes, providing regular reports to the Well-being Director.Assist in preparing departmental reports and statistics, contributing to assessments and strategic planning for the department
