DescriptionJoin Team SAIC and support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDEVCOM), Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) Branch.Position is located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. SAIC provides relocation assistance.We are seeking a Lead Knowledge/Configurate Engineer to support of the Information Analysis Center Multiple Award Contract (IAC MAC) and Task Order (TO). We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals who have in-depth experience in providing expertise to support research, development, assessments, adaption, transformation, testing, integration, demonstrations, transition, fielding, sustainment, and enhancement of designated information and/or intelligence software systemsJob Duties:
Responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system
Leads the documentation and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications
Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations
Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Comfortable working across multiple teams and supporting multiple projects.
Capture, refine and decompose requirements from customer, program and projects
Prepares deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met
Reviews all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper signatures
Submits engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submit reports regarding status
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Required Clearance:
Must have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
